The project «OPEN for young women» is an international program of counseling and support of young people, particularly women and girls, during the search for new opportunities for studying and job placement abroad and, particularly, in Germany. The program aimed at preventing cases of human trafficking and combines partners from Germany, Ukraine and Romania. A new report by the UN Human Rights Office shows that, after two years of conflict, the situation in eastern Ukraine remains volatile and continues to have a severe impact on human rights, especially for those living near the contact line and in territories controlled by armed groups.

Dear Project Partners, Dear Supporters, the first six months period of the project, under the leadership of the Lampas Foundation, ended in February 2016. It was a fruitful period, with plenty of events and much exchange of experiences between project partners. In all three countries, there are very positive results; all project partners are committed to provide quality services, and the benefits of this project for the target groups are emphasized in each country. The OPEN project continuation under the management of Lampas Foundation
We have informed you several times that the management of OPEN project has been transferred to Lampas Foundation since 01.06.2015. After the formal acceptance of the project, we could sign the cooperation agreement with our main supporter Brot für die Welt. Shortly after we signed the contract, we had the opportunity to ask for the transfer of the first instalment and to extend our activities. But all beginnings are difficult and involve many more questions. Therefore, in the first phase of the project, we considered important to clarify the questions and issues raised. Afterwards, we have signed the cooperation agreement with our partners from Ukraine – La Strada and from Germany- vij Bundesverein. The plans which were established at the workshop organized in April in Oradea, Romania now are waiting to be implemented.
